2006 Progeny Special Selection Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"Our inaugural release of 2006 Progeny Cabernet Sauvignon from our Mount Veeder vineyard has a saturated deep red color with a solid core. Ripe aromas of blackberry, blueberry, currant, pomegranate, cherry wood and cigar box are surrounded by beautiful perfumed aromas of cherry blossoms, lead pencil shavings, sweet vanilla and barrel char. On the palate the wine is seamless with mature integrated tannins, concentrated vinous flavors; full and rich but with a high tone touch that last for several moments." - Sean Capiaux
